Tourism 4 ME will embrace the Centre of Excellence based
at the School of Hospitality & Tourism and will offer
a free, unique, value added advisory and signposting service
to Micros Businesses expressing an interest in and operating
within the Tourism Industry.
The aims of the project
are:

To form a network of Hospitality &
Tourism private and public sector representatives along
with representatives from related initiatives within the
Institute. The network will share information on ideas
and models of best practice for the encouragement and
development of entrepreneurship & business in the
field of Hospitality & Tourism.

To organise a series of workshops that
raise awareness of opportunities in the Hospitality &
Tourism and signpost assurance for action planning, personal
development opportunities and business development.

To develop an information portal for Hospitality
& Tourism in the local area for providing an electronic
one-stop shop. The web site may include tourism information
in the local area training opportunities, information
on funding for tourism and links to referral agencies
such as NITB, Local Councils, Special European Union Programmes
